Unpacking industry stress

On the 2 July the association posted material regarding current levels of industry stress.  The issue of mental health s a continuing concern to industry.

Commercial fishing families under continuing distress

Jessica Schremmer from the ABC’s Qld Country Hour provides some ongoing insights into sources of stress relating to poor government policy making highlighted by the Net Free Zones set in Rockhampton, Mackay and Cairns and the recent incursion of white spot in Moreton Bay which, at least from an industry perspective was a catastrophic failure of biosecurity policy.
