QBFP and Qld Commercial Fishers

The Association appreciates the assistance of Chris Thompson, Lawyer and Director at Law Essentials who helped produce three podcasts focusing on issues relating to the Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol (QBFP).

Podcast 1: Interpreting Fisheries Legislation – The discussion focused on the interpretation of fisheries legislation by QBFP officers.

Podcast 2: Discussing harassment and Queensland commercial fisheries – The discussion focused on the feeling amongst some commercial fishers of being harassed by QBFP officers.

Podcast 3: Recording conversations and the QBFP – In this podcast, the discussion focused on the recording of interactions with QBFP officers.
