Consumers now more than ever, are asking about where their seafood comes from, how natural it is, and most importantly, ‘is it local?’.
Queensland Catch is an initiative created to educate consumers about the value of locally harvested seafood and the people who supply it. It shares the story behind Queensland’s commercial fishing industry and the provenance of genuine local seafood. The registered collective trademark signifies that the seafood has been commercially caught by licenced Queensland fishers operating in our state’s clean, well-managed waters.
